Charity Choices

Some proceeds get sent directly to a charity Alice chooses, while some cover her race entry fees for charity-supporting running events. Alice loves to run races!
Congrats to Alice for a 22:16 5k time at the City Championships, Oct. 2010!
April 2011, Alice ran one mile at 5:52.76 at the Bay Conference Championship, securing her a spot in the Middle Division State Meet!

2011: American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

2009-2010: Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Disney's Royal Family 5k (supported Make-A-Wish Foundation). Miles for Moffitt 5k (supported Moffitt Cancer Center). Kiwanis Morton Plant Mease Midnight Run (supported Florida hospitals). Race for the Cure (sponsored runner Brian Darrow in the 10k).

2006-2008: Alice donated to American Cancer Society's Relay for Life; Southeastern Guide Dogs; Sharsheret, a national organization that connects Jewish women facing breast cancer with cancer survivors for support; ALPHA House; and our local JCC.

2005: Hurricane Katrina, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, local SPCA, ASAP Homeless Shelter, Locks of Love, Dec. 2004 Southeast Asian Tsunami victims.
